Frank Opoku Acheampong
Acheampong started his career with Ghanaian side King Faisal Babes and was linked with a move to Serie A outfit Palermo in 2010. Despite that link, the 5 foot 8 inch forward joined Berekum Chelsea on a free transfer. He was later invited for trials with Al-Jazeera, the Dubai-based club that is owned by Manchester City supremo Sheikh Mansour.
In February 2011, he made the move to the Thai Premier League with Buriram United playing in 56 games for United and scoring 17 goals. He also recently won his first cap for Ghana in an international friendly against China in August 15th this year, playing 60 minutes in the 1-1 draw.
January 2013: On Monday, Frank Acheampong (Ghana Messi) joined RSC anderlecht on loan for 18 months with buying option. He comes from the Thai league where he was voted best player in 2011.
